Recognised for his extraordinary virtuosity, profound musical insight, and remarkable stylistic breadth, Albert Mamriev has established himself as a prominent figure on the international classical music scene. Critics have praised both his dazzling technical command and his deeply thoughtful artistry, particularly in his acclaimed interpretations of the monumental Wagner–Liszt transcriptions.

Born in Dagestan, Mamriev began his musical studies with his father, the distinguished musician Yankel Mamriev, before continuing his education at the Central Music School of the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory, the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory, the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University, and the Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media, studying with renowned pedagogues including Sergei Dorensky, Arie Vardi, and others.

A laureate of numerous prestigious international piano competitions — including Gina Bachauer (USA), UNISA (South Africa), Vianna da Motta (Portugal), Scottish International Piano Competition, and China International Piano Competition — Mamriev has enjoyed an extensive performing career spanning Europe, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East.

He has appeared at renowned festivals worldwide, among them the Shanghai International Festival, Jerusalem International Music Festival, Ludwigsburg Castle Festival, Franz Liszt Festival, IKFEM Festival, Madeira International Piano Festival, and many others, while giving recitals and masterclasses in major musical centres including Berlin, London, Paris, Moscow, New York, Beijing, Seoul, Madrid, Tel Aviv, and Mexico City.

Alongside his distinguished performing career, Albert Mamriev is widely respected as a pedagogue and mentor. A jury member at more than 50 international piano competitions, he has guided a remarkable number of prize-winning young pianists, whose successes include victories at competitions such as UNISA, Maria Canals, Ettore Pozzoli, Liszt Centre Competition, and numerous others across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

His artistic activity also encompasses conducting, music production, recording, and festival leadership. Mamriev is founder and artistic director of several international cultural initiatives, including the Neue Sterne International Piano Competition, Young Piano Stars, and multiple festivals and academies dedicated to nurturing the next generation of musicians.

His recordings — including his acclaimed projects devoted to Wagner–Liszt transcriptions, late-Romantic repertoire, and contemporary works — reflect a deep fascination with stylistic richness and the expressive possibilities of the piano. His most recent recording projects, produced in collaboration with Grammy-winning producer Christopher Alder, further confirm his standing as an artist of exceptional international stature.
